NPTC Launches New Website

ARLINGTON, VA – The National Private Truck Council has launched its all-new website, which delivers important information about the association, its members and the private fleet community more quickly and effectively. The address remains www.nptc.org,

“At the core of NPTC’s value proposition is a fully engaged membership,” said Gary Petty, NPTC President and CEO. “This new website is central to that goal. This dynamic new website helps to keep our members fully involved in the Council’s activities, informed about the latest news, developments and resources essential to running their private fleets, and connected with each other through a virtual on-line community. The improvements to content, the ease of navigation and the enhanced ability for members to connect with each other will help us continue to provide high-quality service to our members.”

Development of the association’s new site began in 2010 and involved a complete upgrade of the technology infrastructure and transaction processing capabilities. The website was designed under the direction of George Mundell, NPTC Executive Vice President and COO.

“The new NPTC website features the very latest in website technology and navigation,” says Mundell. “Furthermore, it’s the most comprehensive repository of information tailored especially for private fleet professionals anywhere on the web. The new resource provides social media integration, membership organization, and a better flow of information in a highly user-friendly fashion.”

Along with a vibrant new look, the site features enhanced tools such as an online membership directory and a buyer’s guide. News feeds will keep users informed of the latest news and developments affecting the private fleet community.

The new site enables users to easily search content, renew membership, or register for events electronically. Plus, the site offers extensive information about government affairs, upcoming events, resources for private fleet professionals, and NPTC’s Certified Transportation Professional® program.

Content rich environment with drill-down by solution or user type

Robust, intelligent and secure E-commerce solution

Expanded Member and CTP profile access

New, integrated and easy-to-use dues and conference registration system

Redesigned and expanded online buyers’ guide

All new searchable member database with multiple-filter technology

New social media application access

Additional enhancements will be rolled-out over the next several months.

To activate their accounts and to begin to take advantage of the robust new capabilities offered on the new website, members need only to visit the site and login using their email as their username and their current password. There is a link on the login panel to request a password reset should members have issues logging in..
