The Driver Hall of Fame inducts four drivers with a lifetime of excellence on the highway, in their company, and in their community.
ELIGBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Only one driver per NPTC Fleet member company may be nominated each year.
- Driver nominee qualifications:
- a minimum of three million miles, 20 years, or 50,000 hours of driving;
- no preventable accidents;
- regularly employed or leased full-time at an NPTC member company and actively driving at the time of induction (leased driver must be nominated by the member fleet to which the driver is assigned).
APPLICATION AND JUDGING PROCESS
- Nominations are due Friday, February 7, 2025. Submissions will be acknowledged via email within 24 hours of receipt. If you do not hear back within 24 hours, please call (703) 838-7960 to verify receipt. NPTC cannot be held liable for applications that have not been acknowledged.
- The safety representative and corporate contact listed in the nomination, as well as the NPTC voting member on record will be notified of the results via email on or before March 10, 2025.
- Eligible applicants who are not selected will be mailed a Certificate of Achievement for meeting the rigorous nomination criteria following the conference.

DRIVER HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY
The selected drivers will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at NPTC’s Annual Education Management Conference & Exhibition, May 11-13, 2025 in Orlando, FL. Drivers selected as 2025 inductees are provided complimentary lodging at the Rosen Centre Hotel (from Friday, May 9 through Tuesday, May 13). Complimentary conference registrations are also provided for drivers and spouses by NPTC. Scheduled food and beverage events each day of the conference are included as part of the complimentary conference registrations and, therefore, are provided at no charge to participating drivers and spouses.
NPTC is not responsible for any travel-related or additional expenses incurred by participating drivers, spouses, or their employer/contracting companies (on behalf of their drivers) beyond the complimentary hotel rooms and the complimentary conference registrations provided.
The Fleet Safety Awards recognize Fleet member companies with outstanding safety performance.
APPLICATION AND JUDGING PROCESS
- Completed applications are due Friday, February 7, 2025.
- Applications are limited to one per NPTC Fleet member company and should reflect the entire fleet safety performance of the company.
- Submissions will be acknowledged via email within 24 hours of receipt. If you do not receive an acknowledgement of receipt within 24 hours, please call (703)838-7960 to verify.
- Award winners (the company representative listed in the application and the company’s NPTC voting member on record) will be notified via email on or before March 10, 2025.
RECOGNITION
Companies selected for a Fleet Safety Award will be formally recognized and receive their award at NPTC’s Annual Education Management Conference & Exhibition, May 11-13, 2025, in Orlando, FL. Attendance by winning companies is strongly encouraged.
The Safety Seal Awards recognize Fleet member companies with individual terminal locations that display outstanding and/or improved safety records.
APPLICATION AND JUDGING PROCESS
- Completed applications are due Friday, February 7, 2025.
- NPTC Fleet member companies are welcome to apply for as many terminal locations as might qualify; each terminal must be submitted with a separate application.
- Submissions will be acknowledged via email within 24 hours of receipt. If you do not receive an acknowledgement of receipt within 24 hours, please call (703)838-7960 to verify.
- Award winners (the company representative listed in the application and the company’s NPTC voting member on record) will be notified via email on or before March 10, 2025.
RECOGNITION
- Companies with terminals that are selected as Gold, Silver, or Bronze winners will be recognized from the podium at the Annual Education Management Conference & Exhibition, May 11-13, 2025, in Orlando, FL at the Fleet Safety Awards Ceremony. Attendance is strongly encouraged.
- Winning companies are also recognized as Safety Seal Award winners in the Annual Education Management Conference & Exhibition onsite materials.
- Gold, Silver, and Bronze certificates for each winning terminal location are mailed to the company following the Conference.
