The National Private Truck Council has joined two leading national organizations to help members navigate innovative pathways to a clean energy future and greater freight efficiency in truck transport.
The Clean Freight Coalition is an alliance of stakeholders and national trade associations committed to a clean energy future for the trucking industry. As a member of this alliance, NPTC supports the Coalition’s mission to educate policymakers on the progress that the trucking industry has made in lowering the carbon footprint of trucks, reducing greenhouse gas emissions from freight transport, and advocating for sound public policies in the transition to net zero-emissions.
The North American Council for Freight Efficiency and NPTC have formed an alliance to help private fleets determine which new strategies and technologies including alternative fuels and autonomous trucks will help meet sustainability and freight efficiency goals.
